The Three Locks on the Angle: A Derivation Attempt on the Slice-Orientation Law

Publicly deposited November 1, 2026 · Zenodo · 6 pp · DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.23869553

Abstract

Paper #151 ran the search for Θ — the rotation angle of the sky at recombination — one more time and came back with no production: no number of ours, derived from our own machinery, that we could seal before looking at the measured answer. It named the missing object exactly: a slice-orientation law, in three parts — a sign, a coupling, and a density. This paper is the attempt to derive that law from the machinery this program already owns, run as an examination with its rules fixed in advance: a part counts as derived only if the construction produces it with no testimony, no convention dressed as physics, and no free parameter spent. Five routes were registered and examined — a constitutive endpoint, a scar on the created surface, an event charge, a weighting of the book's slices, and the assembly of the three factors. The tally is zero. Zero routes derive all three parts; zero of the fifteen part-slots across the five routes are derived. The formal core of the failure is computed, not asserted: the factor assembly Θ = ε·g_Θ·X_rec carries three unknowns against one equation, and the event route Θ = (b/ℓ_T)(L_created/ℓ_T) has a reachable set of (0, ∞) — any positive angle at all — over its two free factors. So this paper's result is a priced failure, and the price is the deliverable. The sign costs one parity-odd law whose sign is slaved to the hole-pointing axis; today it is held by testimony at three fences and derived nowhere. The coupling costs one conversion law, form and value, from owned slice data to an angle, with zero free continuous parameters; today the coupling factor is free on the whole positive line. The density costs one computed value at the recombination slice, one derived bridge that says which slice that is, and a reionization-slice evaluation with no new freedom; today none of the three exists. Any single number for Θ printed from this machinery today would be an adoption wearing a derivation's coat. This paper refuses to print one, and it prints the bill instead.

The result, in plain language

Program note

Paper 156 of the November 1, 2026 day charge — batch 3 of the writing bench, deposited the day it was written. Its verdict, as printed on its face: PRICED FAILURE — no production: 0 of 5 routes derive all three parts, 0 of 15 parts derived; SIGN, COUPLING and DENSITY each priced as a named missing object
