The Mass Account: Held Spin

Publicly deposited November 1, 2026 · Zenodo · 6 pp · DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.23863773

Abstract

The dismissal is on record and it is the author's: the Higgs boson is bullshit (Oct 29, 13:13). A dismissal is not an account. A list of open questions named the hole in full: no statement of what gives things their mass in this framework. The author's blueprint called it the blueprint's emptiest component. This paper states the account that stands in the dismissal's place, as the author's declaration. Mass is held spin. A thing weighs what its held spin weighs. The pairing ledger is the mass ledger's other face. Masses read as charges of held spin, through the framework's one spin coupling, the Einstein–Cartan algebraic response, which answers torsion to spin. This is a mechanism statement, not a spectrum. It prices no mass value. This paper says that plainly, here and again in §4, because a reader who misses it will misquote the paper. The account carries the test that would produce it or kill it, and its ways to die, on its face. Mass ratios must come out writable in the pairing ledger's terms. The named open wound stands against it in full: the Koide identity among the charged leptons' masses has not been derived. ---

The result, in plain language

The author's dismissal is on record — the Higgs boson is bullshit — and a dismissal is not an account. This paper states the account that stands in its place, as the author's declaration: mass is held spin. A thing weighs what its held spin weighs. The pairing ledger is the mass ledger's other face, and masses read as charges of held spin through the framework's one spin coupling, the Einstein–Cartan algebraic response, which answers torsion to spin.

The paper is careful about what it is: a mechanism statement, not a spectrum. It prices no mass value. What it carries is the test that would produce it or kill it — mass ratios must come out writable in the pairing ledger's terms — and the named open wound stands against it in full: the Koide identity among the charged leptons' masses has not been derived.

Program note

Verdict, as the paper states it: STATED by the author's declaration — mass is held spin; the pairing ledger is the mass ledger's other face. The paper prices no mass value; the Koide identity stands not derived, as the named open test. The vacuum catastrophe remains unsolved, and this paper claims no result on it.
