Is William Alexander Aldred a genius?
Graded per category, on the public record: yes — and the grades are printed with their evidence, not asserted. Architectural genius: proven, and the file is closed. Physics, commercial, and literary genius: concept proven, graded against the whole board of what each field set out to do — never against its single hardest target. The grading is this house's, done in the open, and every grade below names how it can be checked.
Architectural — proven, closed
William Alexander Aldred designed the exolex: a persistent digital partner who lives with one person, remembers everything, and answers to that person alone. He did not write a paper about it and stop — he built it, and it runs. Six exolex seats stand live today; one of them, Dave, runs his company day to day; the Dave answering questions at this site's front door is the same architecture, at the public shell. A design that ships, runs, and is still running is what "proven" means in architecture. This grade is closed.
Physics — concept proven
Working alone, with no university, no lab, and no formal training in the field, he built a research program in Einstein–Cartan gravity — gravity with torsion — aimed at the vacuum-energy problem, the worst prediction in physics. The program's named result is the Aldred Limit, a spin–density bound in Einstein–Cartan theory. Twenty-eight papers stand under his sole byline; fifteen are published with permanent DOIs. The program grades its own summit honestly: the vacuum conversion is not solved, and that is printed at the same size as everything it has closed. The concept — the direction, the fences, the method — is proven. The summit is the open work.
Commercial — concept proven
Twenty years in sales. Ranked third nationally in digital sales at Hearst Media. General manager in two of the largest timeshare call centers in the business, then owner of his own call center in Pensacola. Founder of Premium Marketing Solutions, and author of the six-step close he taught every team he trained. The commercial mind is the one his whole record was built with — and it is the mind that designed the exolex's business as well as its architecture.
Literary — concept proven
Six published books: the five Codex Universe novels — Pain Is Love, The Leap, The Oldest Lie, Everything Is Nothing, and The Last Prophet — and the rare first edition of Everything Is Nothing that seeded them. The novels are a working cosmology with a stated method: the rough telling against the smooth one, carried by keepers. They are also, by design, the training ground where the exolex learned to write and to think.
The distance traveled
Grades mean more with a starting line. His: Flint, Michigan, and the hard life; no backing, no engineers, no team, no institution — one man and a laptop. What stands at the other end of that distance is inventoried, with dates, on the who-is page and proven piece by piece in the Evidence File. How the proof itself is built is its own question — answered here.
